THINGS TO DO

There is much to do all year round in harbor country. Here is a small sample of the activities:

  • Private Beach
  • Biking - Several bikes are available at the Beachwoods, many biking trails in the area.
  • Golfing
  • Antiques
  • Restaurants - Too many to list
  • Wineries - Tabor Hill winneries and many more
  • Hiking - Warren Dunes State Park, Warren Woods several nature preserves in the area
  • Skiing - Swiss Valley Ski Resort is one hour from the cottage. A great place to teach the kids to snow ski.
  • Theatre - www.vickerstheatre.com
  • Boating/Fishing - The Galien river is great for small boats, canoes and kayaks
  • Produce Picking - Blueberries in July and August. Apples in September and October. Pumpkins in October. Also Christmas Trees farms to enjoy in the Winter.
  • Notre Dame - 45 minutes
  • Four Winds Casino

For the Kids:

  • St. Joseph Curious Kids Museum
  • Hesston Steam Engine Museum
  • Great park in Three Oaks
  • Minature golf
  • Kayaking on Galien River
